There are a group of artists on the sunny coast involved in a project called artist by artist. That is how I met Van and others so this is the start of an introduction of artists here in Australia.....addition is the better part of subtraction with a few exceptions to later be named.

welcome to the all encompassing arts cooperative on the sunny coast!

Lets begin by introducing the idea of a cooperative and why the need for such an organisation is necessary and attractive for artist of this region.

You might say, "Hey ...

I am an artist looking for gallery space and need to meet my patrons...or

I am a musician and need to get my music heard...or

I am multi-talented and don't know what path to journey down....this is a cooperative that can bring all those people who want to connect with others together.  It is not an industry it is a community and therefore the cooperation of artists in a social society need to be together.

How can we as Australian Artist be recognised in a global setting with integrity and credibility?  We are the cruisies of the coast, living in a magic setting, about to be populated with the wealth of sun seekers, and home owners vacant of art.  Selling our work is always the vehicle of our sustaining lifestyle, however the work we do is our life and it will be done at our pace.

Joining this cooperative needs the support of someone who is willing to travel with others and the ego is an interesting prick in the beauty of a rose.  One of the reasons for starting such an organisation is the vibrance and unique qualities of artists sharing views of difference in a social setting.  Similar is static and difference is fricious...joy is standing with love and understanding that requires flexibility harmonious with pride.
